Probably as simple as a will can be

BRIEF COMMENTS

I chose my title carefully. Unfortunately, if you're looking for a simple page to briefly outline who takes care of your kids and where your modest possessions go, you won't find it here, nor do I suspect will you find it anywhere if it is to be legally proper.

I have no legal training and so cannot say whether this will kit is legally sound, but it sure has a lot of legalese and seems well thought out. Alpha Publications claims to have been in business for several decades, as well.

If you're worth $2M you probably can spend $500 on a consult with an attorney; I suspect this kit isn't for you.

WHAT'S IN THE KIT

The kit has a ~30 page instruction booklet. You don't actually *have* to read this. I would peruse it once, thoough, and it's really not too bad a read. There are another 30 pages or so of example filled-out forms. I didn't read these, but they seem a good idea for those interested..

The will itself consists of ~20 individual sheets. *You won't use many of these*. When you get, in the instructions, to the section where it tells you in very clear detail which sheets you need for your specific situation, it will tell you which sheets you need and which you don't.

CREATING YOUR WILL

Once you open this up the natural inclination may be to groan and throw it on your dresser, where it will stay for five months, then end up in the trash (maybe this is why so few people have wills). Fight that inclination. Once you get started you realize this really isn't so terribly difficult after all. So here is what you do:

1) Read the instructions that explain how wills work.
2) Go to the instructions' chapter 8--the "step by step" guide.
3) With the steps, identify which sheets you need.
4) Photocopy these sheets at least once. Your spouse will need to fill out their own copy and, lacking a spouse, you may make a mistake filling this out, or want to update in the future anyway

In my case I ended up having only around 8 sheets/forms, and 6 of them were nothing but signing my name and checking a box or two.

This is a really cool Comic Book Studio.

From back cover - In 1976 he (Joe Kubert) opened the first and only school devoted to the art of cartoon graphics: The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art, Inc. located in Dover, New Jersey.

Unfortunately Joe Kubert passed away in August 2012 but he leaves behind a legacy of great art.

I don't know if I should open this or keep it as a collectable. the "Studio" includes:

Should be required reading for an Inliner

Recieved in good order about 4 days before I expected it. I also have the 1st edition; the 2nd has about 65 more pages, with most of those concerning heads and manifolds. Lots of excellent information, mostly concerned with drag racing applications. Several build profiles of notable cars and combinations are included. I should've bought it a couple years ago but dithered. It's worth every penny and is helping me set up the 250 in my IHC pickup. If you've wondered about it, buy it...you won't be disappointed!

Good Info, but kind of a rehash

I bought the first edition of the Inline Six-Cylinder Power Manual by Santucci, and it had alot of technical info, as well as race-oriented info in it. My understanding was that this manual was geared more toward high-performance street/track engine prep, which is not exactly correct. This manual is still pretty much geared toward top-end drag racing, or maybe oval track. There is some coverage of high performance options, like nitrous and turbo-charging, but nothing "parts specific" you know, "what parts to buy." Instead Santucci stears you toward other authors for specific applications. Overall the info in this book is very good and useful if you are building an inline six for drag racing, and it's info that's hard to find elsewhere.But if you have the first edition, save your money on this one. If you have neither, then buy this second edition.If your building a high performance street engine there is enough technical and build info to make it worth the purchase.

A hot rodder's Indispensable Bible.

Five outta Five. Been a Studebaker driver/fixer/racer since 1977, but ended up buying a 1966 Studebaker Commander (the 19th Stude my family has owned since '77) and this bugger has a 230" Chevy Inline Six under the hood, which is a whole new thing as compared to the V8's in our fleet.

Mr. Santucci's book has become my go-to as I make little modifications here and there to the motor. With his guidance I've installed an electronic ignition and will soon be moving up to a 4 barrel Edelbrock on an Offy manifold breathing through a set of Stovebolt headers. Then... Who knows? Lump Port head, conversion to a 4-speed on the floor, a 4.10 rear, a mildish street cam, etc. And Leo's book is guiding me along the way.

This is a book you can't live without if you are fiddling around with the Chevy 194/230/250/292 inline six.

This is a good quick introduction. A good supplement to a course on modernist literature or art. What is important is that it shows the Modernist project as something that encompassed art, literature, psychology, science, and politics--in other words, it contextualizes the movement.
