I don't like to rate it very low knowing how much time and effort gets put in, but its all theory which you would generally find by reading bunch of article or if you have knowledge of what are the different component involved for building data lake and what technologies are there to achieve the same then stay away it will waste lot of time

The Definitive Training Guide!

This is the single most valuable dog training book on the market. Lots of dog training books are like fad diets--full of "feel-good" promises and without addressing the core issues. The Dog Rules takes a much more encompassing approach. It explains the scientific principles of effective training. It exposes the reader to different training strategies, and shows that even though the strategies may appear different at first look, they are all rooted in the same core 14 principles. Kyra has competed in all kinds of dog sports, from hunting to agility, and uses her knowledge of each of these sports to give examples of how the 14 principles run through each of these sports.

Kyra's writing style is non-judgmental, and she talks about different tactics, and explains what you are realistically gaining and losing with each one. I really appreciated her honesty. Her chapter on "One Command, One Consequence" alone is worth the price of the book, as it explains how to use discipline in a non-punitive way, by simply establishing rules and consequences. Another chapter that has been life-changing for me was her discussing of how to use the "pressure and release" methods used by horse whisperers to teach, enforce, and control a dog. I love this. It gives me an effective method to use which doesn't involve jerking my dog's collar or intimidating my dog.

After reading this book I now feel like I know how to handle every issue with my dog, and I know how to bring out the best in my dog. And the best part is that it doesn't involve spending more time training. It's just knowing the difference between handling a situation correctly or incorrectly. If you live with a dog, this book is going to change your life for the better.

A different approach

This book focuses on the stimuli (inputs/old ideas) and effective capaturing of responses (outputs/creative ideas) vs most other books about creativity focus on the thinking process, like mindmapping, six hats, thinking toys, etc. Thus, it directs to a total different path of how we build an environment to boost creativity. My analogy is no matter what thinking process you introduce, a group of housewives cannot invent a racket to reach the moon (don't get me wrong, I highly respect housewives for their contribution to families). It's the relevancy and variety of the inputs that matters.
I guess the author is a behaviourist who see thinking process as black box, i.e. non-observable and non-measurable. Thus, he only concentrates on the observable and measurable stimuli and responses.
I am a trainer for creativity for my company. I find this book very useful. The only complaint is that not all the games are up to my personal standard: able to demonstrate the theory AND able to energize the participants.
All in all, I highly recommand this book. You will see creativity in a different angle.

An award-winning Commercial Television and Radio broadcaster, Coach Todd Reed has spent nearly 20 years observing and studying human behavior patterns in friendships, dating, marriage and relationships. His passion is to empower men and women to sharpen their communication skills, understand what makes each other tick, and use conversation to recreate passion and a love beyond words. His new book, CONVERSATION IS SEXY (Triple R Publishing, 2011), has created a buzz among couples eager to rekindle the spark that once lit up their romantic world, as well as organizations in search of a dynamic and entertaining speaker. Coach Todd is a graduate of Montgomery Junior College in Rockville, Maryland, and of Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, where he played tight end for the Battlin’ Bears. Coach Todd is a two-time MBA Television Sportscaster of the Year and a two-time MBA Radio Broadcaster of the Year. In 1996, he was tapped to carry the Olympic torch in the XXVI Olympic Games, held in the U.S. He is also the proud father of six-year-old Raquel Renee Reed. Coach Todd currently resides in Northern, Virginia, but travels the world giving keynote speeches, leading seminars and providing consulting/couple coaching services.

Perfect Rx for a Troubled Relationship

I never thought that reading a book would save my marriage, but Conversation is Sexy did just that. I found a copy of it in my soon-to-be ex wife's car, read it from cover to cover, followed Coach Todd's advice, and won back the love of my life! Next month instead of heading to divorce court, we are planning to renew our vows. Whether your relationship is in trouble like mine was, or you just need to rev things up and get out of a rut, Coach Todd will lead the way.

key that unlocks the barriers, thus providing the ultimate freedom in
your relationship. Is jealousy making your relationships fell lousy?

your mate is married to his work and you are just the mistress?

Just, WOW!!! My boyfriend of 6 years heard about this book from a close friend who raved about it and is a professional who studied relationships from one of the best learning institutions in the nation...so he knew there had to be truth behind the content of this and decided to give it to me for Christmas. I have already read it and he just finished taking his turn...we were enamored with the amazing feedback in this VERY well written, honest approach to help couples spice up their relationship through communication. As a professional mediator of family relations, I have not only begun to use the lessons learned in my romantic relationship, but also have a new outlook on how to improve my career. In respecting and reflecting on both men and women's views, "Conversation is Sexy" is a read that I highly recommend and I can't imagine anyone not finding this book to be helpful and a positive tool to utilize in day-to-day life, from intimate relationships down to professional ones, as I have. It's a quick, easy, inexpensive read, to boot! All around fabulosity!!!

All the books in this seriesare outstanding and captivating not only for young readers but adults alike. This series brings us into an in depth understanding of Canadian History. This volume is memorable for it's tale of the struggles of different people groups as they faced the challenges and joys of opening up the Canadian West, specifically Saskatchewan. The only drawback to this book is we wished it was longer. The stories are fascinating. The historical aspects of this book gave our family a clearer understanding of the people in modern day Saskatchewan. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED READING!
