While I am still to read very far into this text, it appears to be well-written, to cover the bases, and it comes highly recommended.
However, I found it on Amazon by searching in Google, and Amazon's page didn't show other buying options. So, I spent $150 for a new book that would have cost $50 (new) from other sellers.

While their conservationist uncle tries to rescue the children, an evil cryptid hunter who kills species rather than saving them pursues the creature. Marty and Grace each have distinct, if not terribly complex personalities, and their adventures are quite absorbing. The first part of the story moves fairly slowly as the characters and the concept of cryptozoology are introduced. Once the twins hit the jungle, though, things get exciting. Along with the atmospheric setting, narrow escapes, and ruthless villains, a couple of neat personal revelations are woven into the tale, affecting nearly everybody involved. Both kids show courage and ingenuity as they try to survive the wild and avoid being captured. Marty's photographic memory provides a vehicle for presenting many facts about the environment without detracting from the tale. Grace is more introverted as she conquers her fears and discovers a life-changing revelation about her past. The action is nonstop in this well-paced jungle adventure, and Smith adds a deeper layer in scenes of Marty and Grace discovering truths about their complicated family relationships. - a really good book

Grace and Marty are at a boarding school when they find out that there parents are dead. They are then forced to go live with there uncle Travis that they didn't even know existed. Uncle Travis lives on an island and he is big into crypto zoology.

On a trip to find the last living dinosaur on earth, they run into big problems. They have to fight to survive out in the middle of the jungle. Throughout there journey, Grace and Marty reveal some long hidden secrets about there Uncle Travis. Brave and daring, they end up leaving the jungle safely, with the bad guys left behind.

I really liked this book because it keeps you reading. You get to some good parts in the book and you don't want to stop. This would be a great book to come out with a sequel. Another reason I really like this book is because I really like adventure books, and this book is full of adventure.

THIS BOOK IS THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ. IT'S FULL OF MYSTERY AND ACTION. IT'S FUNNY! THE MAIN CHARACTERS ARE GRACE AND MARTY WHO ARE TWINS AND NEAR THE END OF THE BOOK THERE IS A BIG SUPRISE! THEIR UNCLE WHO THEY GO TO LIVE WITH IS ACTUALLY GRACE'S.... YOU'LL HAVE TO READ IT TO FIND OUT.

Good start, but weak finish

Cryptid Hunters had a promising start with the twins, their mysterious uncle and adventure in the Congo. However, despite their parents' mysterious disappearance, the twins showed no anxiety or little curiosity as to their whereabouts or whether they were still alive. By the end of the book, the parents had been forgotten by everyone but this reader.

I thought Smith could have tied up loose ends and had an outstanding book, but as it is, I was disappointed by the weak finish.

What I Liked
I love the original League books (Born of Night and Born of Ice) so this is a nice little novella that let's me get a glimpse of those characters. Though the science fiction elements are minimal in this one there is still a great romance. In typical Kenyon fashion we have a very troubled and damaged hero who needs the love of a compassionate woman to heal him. I have no problem with this story line and Kenyon definelty packs a strong punch considering this is only a novella. Livia is pretty innocent and still very sweet considering her upbringing but Adron really needed someone light in his life.

What I Didn’t Like
I wish this could have been a full length novel! As a side note I felt it was a little odd that Adron's ex-wife came about from a political marriage. After everything Nykyrian and Kiara (Adron's parents from Born of Night) went through and the love they have, I wouldn't expect them to support a marriage that wasn't based on love.

What I Liked
I loved Sparhawk and his funny reactions to things that were unfamiliar. Reading this reminded me of what I love about Sherrilyn Kenyon's writing. This was pretty much insta-love but Sparhawk made it believable because all he wanted was to care for and love Taryn.

What I Didn’t Like
Things got very meta at the end of this one and it got a bit too weird for me. It was an interesting concept on how writers and stories are created but it created a few plot holes that are not really addressed. It's a small part of the story so it's not like it affects too much but it's still there.

What I Liked
Again Kenyon gives us a damaged and tragic hero to love and Sebastian is no exception. He was brutally tricked by this enemies and it resulted in the worst consequences imaginable. Now he's been banished from his family and lives on his own in complete solitude. Channon was a great heroine too because she was willing to give up everything in order to be with Sebastian once she realizes they are mates.

What I Didn’t Like
We get plenty of information about the were-hunters and their history but I would have liked more about Sebastian's family. Granted he's banished so we don't get too much interaction with his brothers and this is less than 100 pages so you can only fit so much.

Great short stories!

In Other World was a book with three different stories. I had not realized that these stories had been released at an earlier time. I enjoyed two of the three stories.

The first story was taken from Kenyon's Born Series. I really liked this story about Adron and Livia. It was so sweet and loving that it sucked me in from the first page. I had seen Adron's name from the other Born books but it was great to get his back story. This book could have been longer because it would have been great to get into more depth about Adron and his injuries and Livia's culture. It was clear that both characters had been through some tragic situations. I loved how the story developed and ended. Adron was in so much physical pain and just wanted to be with Livia so much. I loved the way they met and how their loved developed over one night. I know I had tears in my eyes throughout most of the story. I also laughed a lot. I hope that Ms. Kenyon will do stories on Adron's brothers and sister Zarina. I remember Zarina from Devon's story. She is a kickass female.

The second story started off cute but then just turned weird and confusing. I could not get into it. It just seemed so rushed. I liked the characters but then it got into some kind of library with books written by children and lost authors and just a lot of mumble. I could not get into it after that and I just skimmed over the last half to get to the last book which I knew was a werehunter book.

I loved the last story because I love Kenyon's werehunter stories. This story was so entertaining that i could not put it down until I finished. I had not read a dragon shifter story before and I loved the story between Sebastian and Channon. Sebastian was so sexy and sweet. The whole mating and hand imprinting was great. I cannot wait until her next book No Mercy.

All in all this was a good purchase and I enjoyed two of the stories. I would recommend the book to any fans of Kenyon who have not already purchased these stories earlier. You will enjoy the stories very much. I would have given five stars if not for the second story.

Great reads

I read the first story a while ago. I'm glad I purchased this book! Now I won't have to do a wild goose chase on the internet trying to find who the author is! These are wonderful stories (or are they?) of happily ever after that will leave you feeling all mushy inside :)

Needed this book for a class. Well done. Book breaks down case law into understandable terms. Allows students to gauge different approaches and think about variety of issues associated with natural resources and their uses.

Excellent Book

Of course, I am using this for a law school class, but I really enjoy it as well. The book was in excellent condition, and ironically enough, came from a person in Missoula, Montana where I did my undergraduate studies, and am working on getting a Natural Resources Conflict Resolution certificate.

Finding love in the library

When I read historical stories, I try to imagine being that woman. Rosalyn was a young woman with a true heart that is a wonderful match for the kind but stern, Lord Weston. She always told the truth, no matter the consequences. A very good short story that is oh so sweet but finishes with some heat! Spanking included. The only thing that would have made this story better - an epilogue.

Sue Lyndon is a favorite author to me, and she doesn't disappoint in HIS TO EDUCATE. This is my first medieval & she made me a fan! I loved how the h & h meet, with her sneaking about in the library, and in spite of Lord Weston being a strict, no-nonsense guy, he shows a tender side in the way he treats her. A sweet, romantic, and smouldering little book that can make an afternoon fly by!

I enjoyed this quick, sexy read. Rosalyn is an errant servant girl who's cornered by her hot and dominant master in the library. The result is a sweet story with hot discipline and a passionate love scene. Definitely looking forward to reading more by this author. This quickie whet my appetite!

Great introduction to History

I got this book for a college course that I am taking. I find it a great read and although it is by no means exhaustive (how could it be????) it opens up the world of history and provides relevant bibliographies for those of us who want to learn more.

One of My All-Time Favorites

This is one of my favorite books of all time. I consider it in the top one percent of all books I have ever read. The sheer scope of this work makes me almost gasp with incredulity and amazement. To think that one man could have accomplished this is mind boggling. This is the eighth wonder of the world. From prehistory and until the late 1980s, this book covers politics, economics, science, and arts. McNeill's generalizations are wonderfully and cogently supported by facts at just the right places in the narrative. To produce a handbook of this scope that is also so pleasant to read is an incomparable achievement.

It was exactly what I expected and quite good and useful. The author did a good job creating a useful, readable reference book. The key to this book is under the title, "A Handbook." That's what made it so useful.

Alongside Llewellyn's Witches' Calenday I purchase The Witches' Almanac every year and have for the past 35 years. It has all the pertinent information a witch or pagan would need for the year. Along with the usual lunar phases, planetary signs etc.; there is a wealth of other occult information. From recipes, folklore from all over the world, simple spells to astrological articles and more. There is always something for everyone. Even my Christian, Jewish and Muslim friends find it fascinating. Buy it. You won't regret your purchase. Good job!
